Wat Chalong Phuket - Wat Chalong, or Chalong Temple, was built at the beginning of the 19th century. It is considered the most important of Phuket’s 29 temples. Its real name is Wat Chaiyathararam, but you probably won't see it on any road signs. Wat Chalong is the largest temple on the island and the most visited.
Rang Hill - Rang Hill is a peaceful, leafy hilltop overlooking Phuket City. Families come for weekend walks on the green hillside and eat local dishes with Hokkien and Malay influences at restaurants and cafés with sweeping views. Wat Khao Rang Samakkhitham, a colourful Thai temple, is topped by a landmark golden Buddha statue.
Promthep Cape - Justifiably one of the most popular locations for the crowds of photographers in Phuket, Promthep Cape is at the island's southernmost point giving stunning sunset views. The lighthouse houses interesting historical maritime artifacts and commands spectacular views over the east and southeast of the island and the surrounding area.
